Media Campaign for educating the public on the topic of Elections and Elections Processes

Facing up the Local Elections in Macedonia scheduled for Oct 15th 2017, iVote Foundation has kicked of a Media Campaign for educating the public on the topic of Elections and Electoral Processes. The Campaign started Oct 3rd and will be running until second round of Local Elections 2017.

The aim of the Campaign is increasing the awareness of the electoral processes in Macedonia among citizens, and hereby instill greater confidence in the electoral processes overall. The Campaign consists of educational videos that are aired on National and Local TV stations, and also on-line, on portals and social medias.

Educational videos cover topics such as:
  • Electoral processes in local elections;
  • Validity of the voting ballot;
  • Voting process on the Election day;
  • Secrecy of vote / serial number of the voting ballot;
  • Secrecy of the election materials;
  • What happens if someone else is signed at your name in the voting register when you vote on the Election Day.
